The show igmp groupinfo, a hidden command, will show whether or not the multicast traffic from the source has any receivers. In Example 9-6, the multicast source only field isset at false, which means that receivers exist for the 239.1.1.1 traffic. If the value was set at true, the source is sending traffic but no receivers exist to get the multicast stream. The show IGMP groupinfo command can be useful when troubleshooting multicast-related issues.
