OFDM

OFDM is an acronym for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, an
FDM modulation technique for transmitting large amounts of digital
data over a radio wave. OFDM works by slicing the radio signal into
multiple smaller subsignals that are then transmitted to the receiver at
the same time over different frequencies. OFDM reduces crosstalk in
signal transmissions. 802.11a WLAN technology uses OFDM.
