One of the best ways to make certain that you control access to your
computers is to implement mechanisms that control access to the physical
areas of your corporate facilities. You should also keep records and
restrict access to any sensitive areas within your company where unauthorized
access might present a risk to your overall security.
Physical access controls should be deployed in all buildings in your
corporate facilities as well as any other secure areas within your organization.
Standard physical controls that are essential include having
proper identification for each employee:
